Family Derby

The Miller family of Glouster, Ohio, has been running derbys for decades—three generations of Millers have thrilled in smashing cars together. Howard Miller, Jr. started derbying when he was ony 15 years old. Then he got his son, Tony Miller, into the derby habit. Howard Miller, Sr., Tony's grandfather, was the last to join in but as an engine mechanic he was a welcome addition to the Miller Derby Team. And at 67, he was the oldest driver in Ohio. The family now continues the tradition in the face of changing circumstances.
