Family Struggle
Jerome Shanaway, 7, was abused as a child by his birth parents and he is left with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (part of the Autism Spectrum), Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Epilepsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Neurological Impairment. Jerome and his sister Gina, 8, were adopted by Mark and Gale Shanaway in 2004. This is the story of the Shanaway family's struggles and successes.
